At The Smartest Artist, students develop skills in problem solving, manipulation of media, and self expressive processes to communicate personal meaning. I expose my students to a variety of materials and art forms. We are inspired by nature, architecture, world cultures, art history, historical events, living artists, the masters, current events, and everyday life.

Whitney is a former Elementary and Junior High School art educator. She has ten years of art education experience in both Utah public schools and independent teaching. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with and emphasis in Painting and Drawing. Whitney also has a long-standing studio practice, showing work in various galleries in Salt Lake and Park City, Utah.
